Good get together yesterday...beautiful weather ( Thanks Ted Smiley

) . Some very nice cars and people , great to see Steph there , she seems to be doing well and that's a good thing . Some new cars this year...nice job on that 70 GTX , couple of new people showing up . More than enough food...Thanks Mike and Donna and Steph even helped with the cooking . Great to finally meet Dave ( autorust )...got to say the man knows how to make an entrance AND exit... Shocked

. even had the Rutland police stop by for a look at the Bluesmobile... Grin

Too bad a few more of the guys couldn't make it but that's OK , schedules have a way of filling up this late in the summer...like the Red Sux will be saying " Wait till next year "... Smiley

Got to say the surprise of the day was a 66 Charger that showed up after quite a few people had already left...to the ' trained eye ' of a Mopar guy ( meaning EVERYONE that was there Shocked

) , this thing looked like a car thats been sitting in a neighbors yard since day one thats been used to go grocery shopping and to church on Sundays...VERY unassuming...UNTIL you check it out... Smiley

. What you figured was a 318 car turns out to be a 4 speed , Dana 60 , Hemi car...no badges...power windows...power dick brakes...a set of M&H Racemasters mounted and sitting in the trunk... Smiley

...had me fooled completly... Smiley

I'm not that good at posting pics but I'll try to get some up...

I just finished selling my House and relocatiing to temp housing in the last 2 weeks so getting away wasn't goint o happen. I'd love to see the pics if anyone has them. Tom

oldtimer you were right. ted gave us a great day to have our cookout (thanks buddy). i was very happy with the turnout. i wish i could have gotten to talk to more of you, but time flys when your having fun. as usual the cars were very nice, with a good mix of body styles. like oldtimer said, the surprise of the day was that original 66 hemi charger. this car looked like a plain jane grocery getter. this was one hell of a barn find, i won't tell you what he paid for it, all i'll say is you could not buy a new 1500 ram 4x4 for the same money. i want to thank everyone who helped put this together, there's a great group of poeple in this club. it was good to have steph hang out with us for awhile. she seems to be doing ok, i hope she stays involved with this club. dave, i'm glad you and jerry made it this year and thank you for continuing this site for ted. for those of you that could not make it, maybe next year. i'll post pictures soon. again thanks everybody for making this site so enjoyable.
