That's probably the thing that NED does that bugs me the most. I called them years ago about having an AMC day. The owner said he didn't see enough AMCs coming to the track to warrant a complete day of our own, so to get a group together for Club Day to prove there's AMCs out there. Fair enough. So I quickly rounded up a bunch of AMCs that wanted to race and brought them to Club Day. So, what happens? The next year, they do away with Club Day! Now it seems the Mopars are starting to get the shaft. Fords and Chevys get two or three days each and now Mopars can't have one freekin' day to themselves! Maybe there's not as many Mopars as other brands, but a ton of cars still show up on Mopar Day. Even the imports get more days than Mopars get now!!! Roll Eyes

I wondered what would it cost for MA Mopar members to rent the track for a day so I went on their site to request some info. I'll let you know what I find.

I'd imagine it would be pretty reasonable if we could get half a dozen to a dozen guys to commit.

... maybe a dozen to two dozen, from what my brother told me.

I got this reply from Chris, at NED:

... Reserved Test & Tune... time we run on Weds from 1pm-5pm but I have assumed that with other people when they were actually wanted to rent the whole track for a day (which is entirely different).

If you are talking about the Reserved Test & Tune on Weds it is $103 which is for the Car/Driver and (2) Crew. Please go to the racer handbook, http://www.newenglanddragway.com/images/2008RacerHandbook.pdf and go to page 54 for additional information. This is the 2009 handbook but for this purpose it will be the same information as the 2010 when it is printed.
