Antique Auto Insurance - any recommendations?
Mar 5th, 2010, 6:09pm

Going to register the Dart and I need to pick and insurance company.  Since we live in MASS, and we have a "short" driving season, there has to be a better option than the usual insurance companies in Mass.  Can anyone make recommendations? I've seen adds for Hagerty, bit don't know anything about them.
Thx.

My cars have been insured by Grundy for years. No hassle and no issues.

I've had Grundy for 5 years now, very pleasant to deal with just had the windshield replaced last summer it had a nick in it i did'nt like, they took care of all the paperwork no problem..Hagerty would,'nt insure me because i had a speeding ticket 7 years ago.besides Hagerty charges over $200.00 more for the same coverage i have through Grundy.. My agent, who sells me Hanover for my other cars, says they use Hagerty, and my premium could drop from $450 to $160 a year.  There are, of course, restrictions on use of the car.

I use Grundy for my cars. Cant beat the prices and they use agreed values, not book value. So if you got 20k into your car you can get it insured for that.

good luck.

Minus the deductible, which isn't bad.
